Information We Collect

• Account information (name, email, phone number)
• Financial information you provide during assessment (income, debt, assets)
• Credit information obtained through authorized Experian soft pulls (certified tier only, with your explicit FCRA consent)
• Usage data and interaction with VANCE AI advisor

How We Use Your Information

• Calculate your Home Buyer Readiness Score
• Generate personalized Financial Flight Plans
• Issue Certified Readiness Certificates
• Route qualified leads to lending partners (with your consent)
• Provide VANCE AI coaching and support

Cookies

We use necessary cookies to keep you signed in and operate the platform, and optional analytics cookies to understand how HBRS is used. You can choose "Necessary Only" in our cookie banner at any time; the platform works fully without analytics cookies.

Service Providers We Share Data With

We share your information only with the service providers below, only as needed to operate HBRS, and under agreements that limit their use of your data to providing services to us (as required by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act):

• Experian: soft credit pulls, only after your explicit FCRA consent (certified tier)
• Anthropic: powers the VANCE AI advisor; receives your questions and limited score-level context, never your raw credit report
• Retell AI & Twilio: VANCE voice calls and SMS, including call transcripts when you speak with VANCE by phone
• Plaid: bank account and asset verification you initiate
• Stripe: subscription payments; we never store your card number
• SendGrid: transactional and service emails
• Supabase & Railway: encrypted database and application hosting

We do not sell your personal information.

Data Security

All personal and financial data is encrypted at rest in our PostgreSQL database. Credit check data is stored encrypted and never logged in plaintext. We follow FCRA requirements for all credit-related data handling.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at ryan@avance-financial.com, or delete your account directly from your account settings. For your rights related to credit information, see our FCRA Consumer Rights page.
